Chuck holds B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Minnesota, a J.D. degree Cum Laude from William Mitchell College of Law, and is A.B.D. in his Ph.D. program. Chuck was a Professor of Law from 1999 until joining MacLean Law. He also served as a County Attorney in Redwood, Lyon, Dakota, and Winona counties from 1990 to 2010. Chuck has authored two legal texts, over two dozen chapters, and his scholarly articles have appeared in dozens of law reviews. His work has been cited by the First and Eleventh Circuit courts and in state supreme and appellate courts. Chuck believes that “helping families thrive” requires a commitment to finding collaborative solutions that lead to prompt resolution of family law cases.
