Cassie holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and holds a Paralegal Degree from the Inver Hills Community College. Cassie has worked exclusively in family law for over ten years. She began her legal career in 2002, drafting and editing appeals for the St. Paul-based office of the court-appointed Monitor of the Black Farmer’s Class Action Settlement. In that role, Cassie helped monitor allegations of race discrimination in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) farm loan program, a critical function requiring compassion and professionalism. Cassie utilizes all of her experience in family law and appellate work to continue helping families thrive in the next chapter.
Jessica earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and her Paralegal Degree from North Hennepin Community College.
Jessica began her legal career volunteering with both Hennepin County Juvenile Probation and the Children’s Law Center of Minnesota. In 2012, Jessica began her professional experience working as a Legal Receptionist in a small Probate and Estate Planning firm. From there, Jessica continued her work in that field as a Legal Assistant. Jessica’s most recent professional experience includes Paralegal work in a variety of areas of law and civil litigation which included both Federal and State Court actions, Motion Practice, and e-Discovery.
Jessica currently specializes in the preparation of legal documents and assists in all family law issues for all clients within our firm.
CPA (inactive), Accountant
Debbie began her professional career at a Minnesota CPA firm, performing a full array of accounting services for businesses and individuals. Her more recent experience includes a position with another Twin Cities law firm. She is a graduate of the accounting program at Hennepin Technical College and is a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). She is our accounting go-to, assisting in calculations relating to clients real estate, retirement, and often financial aid accounting matter.
Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Eastern Kentucky University. She spent most of her nursing career caring for patients in Intensive and Cardiac Care Units.
Michelle has returned to the workforce after taking time off to raise a family. With her return she has continued to utilize her exceptional interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and ability to engage clients through the beginning phase of what can be a challenging process for many. In doing so, she helps to create a positive experience for staff, clients, and potential clients as she serves as the initial contact in our growing law firm.
